How an Agent can search and prepare a cart
  1. Search this site's JSON catalog: GET /api/agent/products?q={keyword}&country=ca&locale=en-CA&limit=5

Replace keyword with a URL-encoded search term (2-100 characters), and use the user's country and an enabled locale.

  2. Follow a result's detail_api_url to read its variants. Select the user's desired variant_id with purchasable=true. If reading a product page, use its Markdown alternate or the JSON detail route /api/agent/products/{handle}?country=ca&locale=en-CA.
  3. Prepare the selected items: POST /api/agent/checkout-sessions. No authentication is required. Send Content-Type: application/json and a unique Idempotency-Key (8-128 characters); reuse the same key and body only when retrying an identical request.
    {"country":"ca","locale":"en-CA","items":[{"variant_id":"variant_REPLACE_WITH_USER_SELECTED_VARIANT","quantity":1}]}

Replace the variant placeholder and country/locale before sending. Up to 10 distinct variants, quantity 1-5 each. Prices and availability are checked again by the server.

If the response is checkout_result_unknown, ask the user to verify the outcome before trying again. Do not automatically use a new key. For temporary failures, retry the same key and body.

  4. Return the successful response's checkout_url to the user. The link expires after 48 hours and does not reserve prices or stock. The same authorized browser can continue an adopted cart for up to 7 days from preparation; an unclaimed expired link needs the user to request a new cart. The user opens it, reviews and confirms the cart, then completes checkout. Agents must not submit orders, initialize payment, or send payment credentials. Reading or indexing pages alone should not create carts.
  5. When enabled, the user can separately authorize a saved shipping preference in their account and status access for this checkout on the handoff page. Send only the private preference reference, never a raw address. Status credentials require explicit consent, can be revoked, and only allow read access to this checkout and its order. Keep all credentials private and out of URLs. These permissions do not authorize payment or order submission.

RELX Creator 35K vs SP2S TouchPod: Pod Systems Compared

October 26, 2026

The RELX Creator 35K and the SP2S TouchPod end up in the same comparison because both are built like pod systems, but they are sold on two different models. The RELX is a sealed 35,000 puff unit at $21.99: one purchase, one flavour, one lifespan. The SP2S TouchPod is a reusable body that takes separate pods at $18.99 a unit, which means you buy the hardware once and the flavour repeatedly. Understanding which model you are actually shopping in matters more than the spec sheets.

Two Different Ownership Models

Most disposables are simple: buy, vape, discard. The RELX Creator 35K sits close to that model with pod-system construction, and the SP2S TouchPod sits closer to the refillable end of the market, where a device is a durable purchase and pods are consumables.

Neither model is better. They fail in different ways. The sealed unit fails when the e-liquid runs out, and the pod system fails when you lose the device, break it, or cannot find pods in the flavour you want. Choosing well means knowing which of those failures you would rather risk.

RELX Creator 35K: What $21.99 Gets You

Each RELX Creator 35K unit is rated at 35,000 puffs and listed at $21.99. That combination is unusually cheap for the capacity, and it is the main reason the device gets recommended so often. The build borrows from pod hardware: a compact body with a pre-filled pod rather than a sealed plastic stick, which usually means a more consistent draw right to the end of the tank.

The flavour list is specific rather than broad. Current options include Green Grape Ice, Iced Cola, Juicy Pineapple Lemon, Longjing Ice Tea, Ludou Smoothie, Passion Fruit Tea and Taro Ice Cream. That is a curated range built around drink, tea and dessert profiles, with a couple of fruit entries. If you want a plain strawberry or a straight mint, this is not the line for you.

See the full list in the RELX Creator 35K collection, or compare it against the rest of the tier in the 35,000 puff vapes collection.

SP2S TouchPod: What a Pod System Changes

The SP2S TouchPod lineup lists twelve products at $18.99. The important difference is not the price, it is that pods are a repeat purchase rather than a one-off. You keep the body, and the running cost becomes pod cost times how often you replace them.

That model has three practical advantages. You can change flavour without throwing away hardware, which matters if you get bored quickly. Your cost per month becomes easier to predict once you know your own pace. And the device you hold stays familiar, so draw and feel stop being variables.

It has one real disadvantage: dependency. If the pods you like go out of stock, the device you already paid for becomes a paperweight until they return. Sealed units have the same problem in theory, but you are only out one purchase rather than an ongoing supply arrangement.

Pods and devices are grouped separately in the shop, so start with the pod system pod category if you already own a compatible body and only need refills.

The Running Cost Question

Cost per puff is the only fair way to compare a sealed 35K unit against a pod system, and it is easy to calculate for the RELX.

DevicePriceRated puffsCost per 1,000 puffs
RELX Creator 35K$21.9935,000About $0.63
CoolMax UI 35K$33.9935,000About $0.97
WAKA Optimus 120K$31.99120,000About $0.27

Against other 35,000 puff devices, the RELX is roughly a third cheaper per puff than the CoolMax UI 35K. Against the largest units in the store it is still more than twice the cost per puff, which is the normal premium you pay for a smaller, pocketable device.

For the TouchPod the calculation has to wait until you know your own pace, because pod life depends on how much you vape. The honest way to work it out: track how many days a pod lasts you, divide the pod price by those days, and compare that weekly figure against what you currently spend on disposables. Most vapers find the pod route costs less per week once they stop buying whole devices, but that depends entirely on how often you replace pods.

Compatibility, Coils and Flavour Choice

Compatibility is where pod systems trip people up. Pods are matched to a body, and not every pod fits every device, so the safe habit is to buy pods from the same line as your hardware and check the listing before ordering a batch. Buying five pods for the wrong body is an avoidable mistake.

The RELX sidesteps the question entirely, since the pod comes with the unit. What you give up is flexibility: seven flavours, one hardware build, no upgrades. For a lot of vapers that is a feature, not a limitation, because there is nothing to get wrong.

Coil life and when a pod is done

A pod is finished when the flavour fades or the draw starts to taste dry and slightly burnt, not when the e-liquid visually runs out. Running a pod past that point is unpleasant and shortens the life of the device. The same rule applies to the RELX: stop when the taste turns, not when the puff counter hits a round number.

Which One Suits Which Routine

Buy the RELX Creator 35K if you want one purchase, no maintenance and a flavour from the drink-and-dessert side of the catalogue. It suits people who vape steadily, do not rotate much, and would rather not think about restocking pods. At $21.99 for 35,000 puffs it is also the cheap way to try pod-style construction without committing to a system.

Buy the SP2S TouchPod if you already know you change flavours often, or you want the lower ongoing cost that comes from keeping one body. It rewards planning: buy pods in small batches, keep two flavours on hand, and it becomes the cheapest way to vape over a year.

Buy neither if you have not settled on a flavour family yet. Both reward a decision you have already made. If you are still exploring, a cheaper 20,000 puff device is a better place to spend the money while you work out what you like.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the RELX Creator 35K a disposable or a pod system?

It is sold as a single sealed unit with a 35,000 puff rating, but it is built using pod-system construction rather than a basic disposable stick. In practice you use it once and replace it, so budget for it like a disposable even though it feels like a pod device.

Do SP2S TouchPod pods fit other devices?

Not reliably. Pods are matched to their own hardware line, so buy pods for the body you own and check the product listing before ordering multiples. Cross-brand pod compatibility is not something to assume.

Which is cheaper over a year?

The pod system usually wins if you vape consistently, because you replace pods rather than whole devices. The RELX wins if you vape lightly or irregularly, since a single $21.99 unit rated at 35,000 puffs can last a casual vaper a very long time.

Are both available at 20 mg/mL?

Both are sold within the Canadian 20 mg/mL cap, and the exact strength is shown per flavour on the product page. Availability differs by flavour in both lines, so confirm the listing rather than assuming every option matches.
